Okas Fidelity was bred in Germany by Beate Schmidtlein, Oka’s Opposition’s sire is the famous and successful Trakehner Fleetwater Opposition while his dam Oka’s Fidelity is by the world renowned leading thoroughbred Heraldik.
Fleetwater Opposition is the sire of many successful horses including former British Eventing Team gold medal horse Opposition Buzz and the current four star horses Wellshead Fare Opposition, Absolute Opposition and Opposition Detective with Kirsty Johnston, winner of the ‘Best first timer’ award at Badminton in 2016. He is also the sire of the British bred leading French based stallion Yarlands Summersong.
Heraldik, for five consecutive years was the world number one sire and is currently number three in the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horse (WBFSH) event sire rankings. He is the sire of many successful event horses including Badminton winner Happy Times, German team Olympic fold medal horse Butts Abraaxas, European fold medallist Halunke FBW. Four star horses Butts Avedon Leon and Karascada M and is the dam-sire of La Biosthetique Sam FBW, Michael Jung’s record breaking Olympic, World and European Champion who also won both Badminton and Burghley.
